nOT aNOTHER nUDE

I have been photographing people since 1990 and in this time have taken thousands of photographs of nude women. Many people say I must be so used to it by now that it is just another job and most likely boring. This particular shoot was yet another example of how this is the opposite of true. The model in this shot had never posed nude before and was a little nervous but also very passionate about the process. The more comfortable she felt the deeper her passion and joy became. For me her enthusiasm and joy combined with her beautiful aesthetic was incredibly inspiring. Whilst not all of my shoots have been as fulfilling in general I thoroughly enjoy my work especially when it involves nudity. Many people try to say that the photography of nude women is not artistic or empowering. I disagree and believe that a shot such as this is very artistic. The models physique in itself is an art form as is the pose, lighting and especially her mood. In this particualr shot she is in my opinion 100% present and in the moment which emits a very powerful level of authenticity.
