Flashdance Feel

This is a shot from an old calendar shoot. It is set in my studio gym which has a very grungy feel to it. The clothes have some artistic license for a ballet shot but I feel the overall feel of the photo has authenticity and style. Much of this is due to the model being present when the camera clicked. All too often especially in scene shots like this the model becomes obsessed with the result which then restricts the flow and reality of the scene. This is a message I share regularly but a very important one.
