Appreciation of the Nude by Tonyr
Appreciation of the Nude
This is a shot from last Saturday's art nude photography workshop. Part of the intent behind these days is to develop an open and authentic passion for the female nude form. I think that as political correctness keeps growing that we are getting further from being empowered by the beauty of the naked female. On one side we have people who think it is dangerous to society to have such things promoted. Then at the other end of the scale we have some people who are blocked by lust  from having any real gratitude for the beauty. From my perspective I have always loved the lines of beautiful things and for me nude women  are the pinnacle for beautiful lines. I am also drawn to the energy or emotion of these beautiful women when they let go of their protective walls.  This was Ally's first workshop and prior to agreeing to do it she discussed her nerves and lack of self belief with me. I believed that this helped in preparing her emotionally. The fun she had on the day is clearly illuminated in the photo here.

Refined Shape by Tonyr
Refined Shape
This is a shot from my recent art nude photography workshop. At these events we endeavour to shape and sculpt the models to their most flattering aesthetic. With Alyssa, the model for this workshop, it was very easy. She has a long history or weight training and her back and bottom reflect the  time and passion she has put into her body. As such little effort was required in posing her to look great. I wish more women were encouraged to work with weights as I think that the results can be so inspiring provided there is common sense and balance associated with the activity.

simplicity by Tonyr
simplicity
Some shots take very little effort but can have great impact. This is one such example. It was taken at one of my photographic workshops and the model had just positioned herself in the window. I looked up and snapped it straight away. I think much of the impact is because she most likely was not aware of the shot being taken.

Inspiration by Tonyr
Inspiration
This is a shot from a portfolio shoot earlier this year of a compeditive body shaper. I find that the combination of feminine curves and a toned body is very inspiring for me. I am also drawn to this shot as I feel te model is engaged in the moment rather than being self conscious about the camera and waiting for the click. So whilst her look is very attractive I believe that the shot would not have the same impact if she was not emotionally present.

Thought it was time to do an update on my photographic workshops. Running them every 2 weeks in Melbourne and every few months in Sydney. Also prepared to take them anywhere in Australia or overseas if the interest is there. I love the aesthetics and essence of people and the workshops help others to bring the best out of their subjects in both aspects. Classes are open to any level of experience and are run in a very relaxed manner. You can check out videos, testimonials and pictures on the workshop section of my personal website www.leapoffaith.com.au

Have been on Deviant for a few years now and really enjoying it. I am a photographer and writer based in Australia. Adore women's bodies and also the essence of people. Try to present words and images that inspire. These days am not doing as much commercial work as I used to. However am running workshops in Melbourne and sometimes Sydney that help photographers to pose and connect with models.

Really good quality in your works. And there are some rather interesting body types in your gallery, particularly the women where the muscles show up well but not too over exaggerated. I'm sure I can learn a lot for my own drawings here, so i'll make sure too look by again some time :)

dude , great works of art , you have a great eye and it shows .
i see you don't do much with female upper back which is a shame cause the models are so fine and fit.
